Jeddah Season 2026: Events held and what runs through November

Jeddah Season 2026 has no single opening or closing date. Events have rolled out sequentially since February 2026, with the latest announced attraction running until November 4, 2026. The season is part of Saudi Seasons, a nationwide entertainment initiative held in the Red Sea coastal city.

What is Jeddah Season and how has it evolved?

Jeddah Season is an annual entertainment festival. According to Saudipedia, past editions followed this timeline:

The Platinum List guide described the 2026 edition as a return after a one-year hiatus. Elsewhere in the Kingdom’s entertainment calendar, Turki bin Abdulmohsen Alalshikh, Chairman of the General Entertainment Authority (GEA), announced the launch of Riyadh Season 2026 on Wednesday, October 21, 2026, releasing a teaser video outlining a ten-week program.

Which events took place during Jeddah Season 2026?

The lineup spanned winter and summer, mixing sports exhibitions, concerts and interactive shows. Winter programming started early before expanding significantly in the summer months.

In winter, the season hosted Sneaker Con 2026, an exhibition for athletic shoes and rare collectibles. It ran for three days starting February 1, 2026, at the Jeddah Corniche Circuit, according to the Saudi Press Agency. Separately, the Ministry of Culture organized the Historic Jeddah Winter Season 2026, an independent program not affiliated with Jeddah Season.

For summer, the Platinum List guide published a list of announced events on July 22, 2026, noting the full schedule had not yet been released. That list included:

• Anthony Joshua vs. Christian Brinkhoff at Jeddah Super Dome on July 25, billed as “The Comeback.”
• A concert by Ahlam on July 30.
• A joint concert by Elissa and Wael Jassar on July 31.
• The Jeddah Chess Championship, which began on August 1.
• “This Is Michael,” a tribute show to Michael Jackson, on August 21.
• Family activities at Jeddah Waterfront until July 26.
• Cultural events in Historic Jeddah until August 15.
• The Jeddah Shopping Festival until August 31.

One standout attraction was “Wonder Forest,” an air-conditioned indoor experience inspired by forests and wildlife. It welcomed visitors daily from four in the afternoon until eleven at night and ran until September 11, 2026, according to the Saudi Press Agency.

Are there still ongoing events at Jeddah Season 2026?

Yes. The longest-running announced attraction is the West Obhur Coast zone. It features beach activities, water sports, live performances and food stalls, scheduled to continue until November 4, 2026, according to the Platinum List guide.

Always verify dates on the official event page before heading out, as this information was published in July 2026 and may change. No official winter program for Jeddah Season 2026 has been announced, nor has a final closing date for the entire season.

How do you buy tickets for Jeddah Season events?

There is no single ticketing platform for the whole season. Each event uses its own designated sales channel, detailed in its official announcement. For example, tickets for the Joshua fight were sold through WeBook across three price tiers, ranging from 50 riyals to 400 riyals, according to What's On Saudi Arabia.

To book safely, follow these steps:

1. Start with the event’s official announcement or the Jeddah Season account on X.
2. Use only the ticketing link provided in that official announcement.
3. Double-check the date, time, venue and ticket category before paying.
4. Keep your e-ticket in your personal account and never share it.

What major events are coming up in Jeddah?

The most prominent confirmed date is the season opener for the ABB FIA Formula E World Championship 2026–2027. According to the official championship calendar, rounds one and two are set for December 18 and 19, 2026, at the Jeddah Corniche Circuit, featuring two races under the lights.

This race is not part of Jeddah Season; it is an independent event on the city’s sporting calendar. Ongoing coverage of Jeddah reflects this variety, with Al-Eqtisadiah newspaper regularly reporting on developments where sports, business and tourism intersect, such as hosting Gulf Cup 27 and the phased opening of Terminal 4 at Jeddah’s airports in September 2026.

Why should you be cautious about Jeddah Season rumors?

Many websites publish conflicting opening dates and inaccurate figures regarding visitor numbers and event counts. Always rely on official sources and announcements from organizers. This challenge extends beyond entertainment. As writer Shaimaa Al-Marzouqi noted in Al Khaleej newspaper during the Arab Media Summit 2026, a high volume of digital publishing does not automatically guarantee credibility or trust, making accuracy essential across all media.
